I am grading a project in Resolve 15 with clips on tracks 1 and 2 and a 2.35 aspect ratio overlay on track 5. I want to see the track 5 overlay but I don't want resolve to select it each time I change clips. Any way to prevent that track from auto selecting?

Holdover from Premiere and the limits of the warp stabilizer requiring footage dimensions and sequence dimensions to match. I'm wondering now if it doesn't matter with Resolve?
Just out of curiosity though, let's say my solution wasn't so easy. Let's say I am using some specific graphic overlays on my clips that I want to be visible when I grade but I don't want the system to automatically select. Is there a way to do that?

This isn't a very elegant method, but you could put all clips that are not the overlays into a group and then choose to view only that group.
