How do you turn off auto-keyframing?

PostSun Sep 23, 2018 7:55 am

Hi all.

I'm keyframing an audio level. Occasionally I want to bring it up and then drop it back down to a sort of base level.

Now that I'm playing through the whole clip, I want to adjust the level of that "base" level in between the elevated regions. I can do that by dragging the line segment in the audio track, but it's imprecise. If I do the same thing by dragging the slider or entering the value in the audio-level control for the clip, it insists on creating a keyframe. This inconsistent behavior creates a very tedious process for simply changing a level.

How do we disable auto-keyframing? I searched the doc and couldn't find any info on it.

Thanks!
