Incorrect IP in the .resolvedbkey

PostWed Sep 26, 2018 1:35 am

Windows 10 v1709, Resolve Studio 5.1.

The system has VirtualBox 5.2.8. It's not related to the operation of Resolve in any way.

When generating an access key with Resolve Project Server the value placed inside <hostIPAddress> is the IP address of the VirtualBox host-only network. This happens to be the last IPv4 address listed by ipconfig.

It's possible that Project Server doesn't discriminate intelligently when there are multiple network adapters found in a Windows host.

Sounds like what you are saying or , (doublecheck) maybe your hostname is resolving to that ip ?
In case of latter its an easy fix.
Or another option, its taking the one whic has the default route assigned, which is normaly ok but on VM's is the private net . So on VM's you would then need to do manual stuff instead of the project server
