resolveinstaller.msi not found

I am having issues installing Davinci Resolve due to a resolveinstaller.msi file not being found. Any help would be appreciated.

You won't get any help unless you give us information such as computer system, OS, Resolve version, etc. There is no such thing as too much information.

Studio or free version? I would try downloading the installer again.

The Free Version. I wanted to try it out before committing to the paid version. I downloaded the installer several times with no luck, restarting my computer in between the downloads.

How can I delete everything Davinci Resolve related and try to install it again? I believe the Uninstall from the Control Panel is not deleting everything which is why I am getting the resolveinstaller.msi issue.

My laptop has very little installed on it as it is only a month old. 8th Gen i7, 16GB RAM, GTX 1060 graphics card.

Do you use anti-virus software from TrendMicro?
There are apparently problems with this antivirus solution. 2 people (including myself) here from the forum had during the installation of the last version Resolve a message of anti-virus software.

Maybe just turn off the antivirus software temporarily (!) During installation.

Hey everyone I have successfully gotten around this problem by running this microsoft debug program. It takes a bit of time but it uninstalls davinci resolve for you. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... or-removed
