Same issue.
I am having an issue with Davinci Resolve Studio 15.1.
When I start Resolve Studio it crashes after the splash screen, after "loading waveform monitor"
This happens with Resolve Studio 15.1, 15.1.2, 15.2.
A Deck link 4K is installed, Desktop Video 10.11.4 is installed.
The machine is Windows 10, i7 6900k, GTX 1080 (gpu driver 416.16)
I've tried uninstalling (via control panel) and installing again (all three versions).
I've tried changing the USB port of the Dongle license.
If I change the Compatibility settings on the Resolve.exe to "Windows 8", Resolve Studio will open after Splash Screen, but only after several minutes of waiting. Is there something I am missing?
Should Resolve Studio run optimally in "Compatibility Mode"?
attached is a log file retrieved after fresh install and running Resolve.exe without having set "compatibility mode": resulting in crash.
