No more than 20 loaders in Davinci Fusion

Is this correct?
I tried in both the free and the studio version, and I couldnt load more than 20 media files.

I was trying to make a videowall in Fusion and loaded 32 videos (720x576). the number 21 media node becomes red. in the node tree.

Can someone please confirm.

Are you using Fusion 9 or DaVinci Resolve 15? Are you using Media In or loader nodes?

Can you post a link to a sample project file ?

If a loader is red it might also mean that the format you're trying to import isn't supported in some way.

Hi Im using Davinci Resolve 15 Fusion. I tried both, loaders and import as media in.
I tried new comps from scratch and no luck, its everytime the merge_20 becomes red.

I have same codec on all clips, rendered with Davinci Resolve DNxHD Clips are 12 second shots.
Im sure its not the clip, because I tried many different clips. as soon as I get to merge 20 and add clip nr. 20 it becomes red. and when I go to EDIT page, the comp dont work anymore, even if I remove the nr. 20 clip it just become corrupt unfixable. and I have to start all over again... strange.

It works fine in Fusion standalone, very responsive too, but still no luck in Davinci Resolve 15 Fusion.
Anyone tested the sample project?

With Fusion loaders Im only able to import a still image? cant import video files.

Transcode your footage to an image sequence if you can. Compositing applications weren’t really meant to be losing in video files, they’re less efficient. Even if it does work fine in standalone.

I have all the shots in dpx, but Im not able to load.

Still cant make that videowall.
Looks like davinci fusion is not able to load more thn aprox 20 video files in any format of sequence on my system.
I have tried importing with loaders and also with media pool.
Now im using the free version of fusion with no problem, but I want to do works in davinci fusion.

Anyone tried the project I uploaded?

Even with the amount of RAM you have, there might be a limit you are hitting there.

Working fine now in Resolve 16 no more limits.
and Resolve dont care what type of image or video I have, it just works!
