Hello there, I suddenly can't see my video files in the preview (editing) monitor - the sound is still there, so are all the timelines, bins and files in the timelines, but there are no more images - all I did was shut down the computer normally and connected it to another monitor. Does anybody have any idea?? Help would be amazing!!! Thank you very much!
Sorry! I am using the resolve 15public beta version with a dongle, running on windows 7 home premium - as mentionned, everything was perfect, until I shot the computer down normally yesterday and switched the monitor... any idea? best regards from munich, heinrich
Hello Dwaine, thank you for your quick feedback! Unfortunately I don t know (nor could I find help online) how to create a CaptureLog - in fact, inside my "Blackmagic Design" folder is a "DaVinci Resolve Panels" folder - that s all. Perhaps you can tell me how to run a capturelog, that would be perfect! Thank you very much, Heinrich
Open the Windows File Explorer. If you don't know how to do that, in the Cortana search bar in the bottom left of your Windows GUI (assuming you have Cortana exposed) type File Explorer. Then select the File Explorer app.
Once you have File Explorer open, go to the C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve folder.
That folder must exist on your system, or you wouldn't have a Resolve icon to launch.
Inside that folder is CaptureLogs. Double click that to run it, or right click it and select Open.
That should generate the log on your Windows desktop.
Hey Dwaine, well, I have no clue how that worked, but having installed the 15.2-version, everything is running perfectly fine again!!! So THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your amazing support!!!!! Best regards, Heinrcih!
