Any D700 glitching solutions yet?

I'm still on the trashcan for the foreseeable future, unfortunately using a fair amount of NR. All I can do is cache the clips separately with Macs Fan Control cranking the fan way up and waiting to cache clip render between cool downs.

Has anyone come up with a better solution? I was wondering about some app or command line that throttles the GPUs based on temperature... At least I could just let it run at whatever speed that would allow. I usually don't trust any render going about 75c on the 2nd gpu.
