Edit tab audio sync and scrubbing issue

I have persistent problems with audio playback in the edit tab. It appears slightly delayed most of the time during regular playback (while playing back in sync in the color tab), and scrubbing is extremely unreliable in terms of timing - the same sounds appear at different moments when I repeatedly scrub through a small section, making it impossible to pinpoint when they actually occur. Has anyone else experienced this?
