Resolve 15.0.1 Launch Issue

PostTue Nov 13, 2018 10:54 pm

Hello,

I am having an issue where no matter the version (15 at least) of Resolve, the program will show in my taskbar after clicking on it, but will not open. I have included the log files for it. I have attempted a few methods that I've found through the forum to no avail, such as making sure Resolve is using the GTX 1060 via nVidia Control Panel and rolling back from the newest release to 15.0.1.

PC Specs:
Gigabyte Aero 15
i7-7700HQ
GTX-1060 6GB

Try the suggestion near the end of this thread:

You have the Intel igdrclneo64.dll crashing issue.

It shows you running Resolve 14.3.1 today? And you still have the Intel driver issue.

Others have reported more than one copy of the igdrclneo64.dll file being installed.

I suspect you haven't deleted them all yet.

And why are you running 14.3.1?

Do a File Explorer search for igdrclneo64.dll in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore and delete all of them you find.

I deleted both of the ones I had found earlier so nothing shows up. I was trying an older version just for kicks to see if it would show. I'm attaching a new NFO with me running 15.2

There are no Resolve errors in the Windows Error Log after the 14.3.1 errors.

What happens when you launch 15.2?

Link to a Resolve diagnostics log after launching 15.2.

Can we get one more NFO grabbed after a failed 15.2 launch attempt or 2?

There are no 15.2 errors in the Windows Error Logs.

I see you have utorrent installed. That has been known to cause issues with some Resolve functions in the past. Just grasping at straws here, but try disabling that, and see if that has any effect.

Otherwise, I'm about out of ideas to try.

uTorrent is only up when I use it, otherwise it isn't running. It wasn't online when I sent any of the previous log files.

I fixed this issue by updating my intel HD 530 drivers from device manager's automatic update tool.

Device Manager > Graphics Adapters > Intel ...

Right click it > click update driver > Search automatically

After it installed for me, i was good to go.

THANK YOU GEMKNIGHT!!!!

While I have an HD 630, I tried the auto update and it didn't show anything (thanks Windows). So I went on Intel's website and downloaded their driver installer, ran it, rebooted, and now it works!!! Finally, no more crappy Microsoft Photos clips, I'm back in business!
