Resolve 15 Video Output Turns Green Sometimes

Resolve 15.1.1.005 (need to update my sig) Windows 7, log file attached (nevermind, I'll furnish a link as the upload seems to be balking to this site)

Working with h.265 footage, UHD, all is well until for some reason, most of the video (previews, tiles, stills) turns lovely chromakey green. FX still has effect, in that when I toggle them on/off the green brightness changes. Restarting system makes the video normal again for a short time, but, as in this last time, it refuses to show video but for a few frames.

New session, same video source file, grade applied via a still grabbed from the afflicted session, works fine, but the project session file is somehow corrupted.

This has happened twice in the last few days. No idea why. I make individual clips, and often a separate project for each type/batch/subject, so the workaround is fairly obvious (make new Resolve project and start over), but since I don't know how to save transform automation for a clip, this gets inefficient and annoying.

Thanks for any input.

You'll need Windows 10.

To eliminate the green error? Yikes ... I really don't want Windows 10. At all.

Well then avoid H.264 and H.265 even more.
Convert your footage to something like DNxHR and you might be able to work in W7.

( Or get a Mac, BG)

It's been working fine last couple days. In W7. So it's some random glitch. Just want to know why.

Last thing I need to do is get a different OS or computer. I'm trying to get work done here, not fiddle with systems. : )

AHA!

Clue: Since it just occurred again, and just after applying Neat Noise Reduction (v4) ....

Hmmm.

Wonder why the green. Someone chose that color, methinks, intending it to be some error/indicator code.

Ah, OK, thank you Mr. Bennett. I guess I'm one of the lucky few.

Cheers,

Gene
