So, I've noticed this for a while now, and while I consider myself a fairly seasoned user of the program, I've never taken the time to hunt this issue down, and am a little perplexed as to what is causing it.
Essentially, I've noticed on my system that when I occasionally pull a key (usually a more delicate one) that its behavior (the keying region) is different when the footage is paused or being scrubbed frame-by-frame vs being played. Typically, the key looks better when paused but can appear much more chattery when playing. On export, it seems to use the paused behaviors, but it's slightly concerning for clients occasionally when I have to explain this in-room.
I'm wondering, am I just completely missing a system setting, is this a bug, or could this be related to a piece of hardware (ie: GPU)? I've made a video to visually illustrate what I'm seeing. In it I'm using a piece of ProRes4444 Alexa footage, that I've pushed pretty far into, out of discretion for the source and client. Happy to answer any questions and thanks for any input!
