Cannot get past splashscreen Resolve 15.2.2

So last week I got my new ssd, I installed windows on it and then installed Resolve 15.2.2 but everytime I opened the app, I couldn't get past the splashscreen, specifically at loading waveform monitor.
I tried installing older versions like 15.0, 14.3.1 but they still didn't work, same issue. I googled my issue and tried various solutions, including deleting all ProgramData, running SFC, updating drivers, removing my headphones (one website stated that this might be an issue) but nothing worked. Before I installed this fresh version of windows I was using Resolve v14.2 or 14.3 (I can't recall) and it worked flawlessly.

The AMD driver appears to be causing the issue.

Others have reported similar issues and reverting to older drivers, even back to a Crimson driver, has solved some issues.

So that's what I would suggest trying.
