DaVinci Resolve audio track channel problem

Hi guys, working on a short film that I am currently syncing in DaVinci Resolve. I have most of the project synced up, but I am only after noticing that even though the audio files are listed as having 6 track channels in Media, every time I drag an Audio clip to the timeline, it is only one single audio clip filling out the left and right speaker.

Surely when I drag one of these clips it should fill 6 audio channels?

I tried this on Premiere and it did, but why is it not doing this on resolve. Is their something I am missing?

Did you try right clicking on the audio and choosing "Display Individual Audio Channels"?

How does audio appear in "Clip Attributes ..."?
6x mono channel or 5.1 or something else?
