How to add a border around a mask?

PostWed Jan 16, 2019 1:16 am

I've used the polygon tool to create a mask with a transparent background and I want the mask to have a border around it. I've added a picture below as an example of what I'm trying to achieve.

(Border as in the orange outline around the character)

Make sure you create a background with the color you want the outline to be, then attach you mask to the background. In the Inspector for the Polygon mask, uncheck "solid" and increase the border width.

You can also use a paint node.

Thanks, but I made the mask in the Color tab. How would I copy the mask in to the Fusion tab to do those steps?

Did you find the answer? How do you create a outline in the colour page for mask?
