If it doesn't open then that's it. There is no way to change Resolve import capabilities.
Decode to PCM outside Resolve.

DTS is a deliverable. It's odd to use that as source material.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I work in a school, sometimes students for their short films work with audio enginer that deliver DTS or DOLBY. And then, I need to create DCP.

FFMpeg supports the decoding of DTS Extended Surround, DTS 96/24, DTS-HD HRA, and DTS-HD Master Audio formats.

Then you should ask that audio engineer to deliver PCM WAV files per track.

WAV files are better for use in an NLE.

But there are ways to create a DCP from exported files. You don't need Resolve for that step, and probably shouldn't be using it if you have anything other than .wav files.

Hi,

For now a collegue find a way to transcode the video in PCM wav file, and then I do a simple sync in Resolve.
Sometimes i use DCP-o-matic and it works well. But because I am doing some kind of demo reel with old students projects, the ability to edit files is a good point.

Just a quick Fairlight question : some files are 5.1 LRCLfeLsRs and some are other distribution live the dolby one. When I change audio attributes in the bin there is no change on the Time Line. I need to do it before edit or clip by clip on the timeline after.
Can we « refresh » audio on the timeline, or Channel assignement ?

Thanks,
