32 bit numbers in EXR channels into Resolve Fusion

I was trying something which works fine in Fusion 9 but not in the Fusion page in Resolve. I've got an exr sequence with an object_ID (channel containing numbers from 1 to 10). I was able to remap these to the RGB channels with a Channel Booleans followed by an Auto Gain in Fusion 9 and it worked fine to give me a usable matte. Did the same in Resolve and that channel reads 6.5 or something like that and Auto Gain did nothing.

Am I missing something, where is Resolve
different from Fusion 9 in this respect?
