Fusion and Colorgrading

Hello,

I have a question concerning the workflow with fusion in Resolve. I have created a chromatic abberation effect in fusion and now want to grade the footage by applying a LUT, but when I convert my LOG footage to REC.709 and apply a LUT the footage looks messed up.

Do I have to render out my fusion effect and grade the footage or do I need to do the grading first and then apply my fusion effect?

Maybe a little more info may help us help you. Broadly speaking the processing flow follows the order of the main pages in Resolve. Media>Edit>Fusion>Color>Fairlight>Deliver.

You can either apply your log to rec709 LUT in Fusion, or apply your OFX effect in a Color node.
"Messed up" does not really tell us anything.

If you want to force it the other way around, use a compound clip.

I made an image. On the left side you can see the clip with just a LUT applied and on the right side when I do the same process with my clip I edited in Fusion. The Fusion nodes are displayed in the rightangle below.

what's happen if you remove the lut?
