I’m usong GH5 files 10 bit iwith Resolve 15.2 nto the Media Pool in list mode and I can see the 'Date Created' column title, but there is no information regarding the date the media was captured?
Any idea?

In Resolve Studio 15.2.2 on my Windows 10 system, I see dates in the Date Created file for all my GH5 files.

What OS are you using?

Are you using the free or Studio version?

If you are really using 15.2, can you try 15.2.2?

Yes, it is 15.2.2 on win10 and is Studio version.

Can you provide a link to a small file that isn't showing a Date Created, so we can see if it behaves the same here?

I'm also seeing the information using Studio 15.2.2 on Windows 10 (1803).

When I copy that file into my GH5 media folder, and add it to the Media Pool, I get a Date Created date of today (1-21-2019). Same for Date Modified.

This is what Windows File Explorer Properties show for the file as well.

What does Windows File Explorer show on your system for these files when you right click and select Properties?

Same on the Mac. The Finder shows the download time as creation date. I'm afraid the camera didn't write one.

Maybe Resolve should look deeper. Here is mediainfo output:

Its really interesting the amount of metadata that the GH4/5 put into the MP4s. It would be great if Resolve could parse that and populate the metadata fields.

That being said, I currently do this via python in v15. Unfortunately not all clip properties are editable via python.
