X265 Render option not available my Desktop Computer

AMD r7 1700
GTX 1060 3 Gig
16 gig ram

Laptop
i7-7700
GTX 1060 gig
16 Gig Ram

I think you need nVidia to get H.265 on Windows.

Only Resolve Studio supports this. With the GTX1060's, you should see this option, if you are using a current Resolve Studio version. The free version does not support this.

I guess we need a Resolve log file and a Windows System Information .NFO file to look at then.

It works only, so far with the NVIDIA 399.24 Driver.

Try installing whatever NVIDIA driver is on the laptop onto the desktop.

The desktop is using AMD, Dwaine. The nVidia driver won't work.

That's an AMD CPU, not the GPU.

Even though your Desktop NFO doesn't open properly, I find within it the NVIDIA version is 399.24

Your laptop version is 417.35

Might be worth trying 399.24 on the laptop, just to see what happens.

Some one Said That that only 399.24 only does x265.

How Soon Till Mocha Works in Divinchi Resolve 15?

That may take a long time. Use the standalone instead and import masks.
The masking and tracking with Mocha inside of Continuum plug-ins are working fine, BTW.
