Amend a Title in Fusion

PostFri Jan 18, 2019 4:18 pm

Hi

I am working on a title in Fusion, a Lower third box which slides in from the left of screen. So far, this looks good.

I want to have another version of it slide in on the right of screen (two people on screen who need their names shown) - How do I make it come in from the other side of the screen?!

Also, how do I make the box smaller?

Thanks
Geoff

Change the keyframes.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

It kind of depends on how you are implementing the animation. I usually use Transform nodes, and they have a Flip Horizontal and Flip Vertical checkbox that allow you to have elements enter from opposite sides of the frame.

Apologies, I am new to the Fusion part of Resolve and don't know how to use these nodes and achieve this. Could you help?!

You can set up the location of your lower third, say in the lower left corner, then animate its motion off the left side by adding a Transform node after the Lower Third graphic. Once you get that working the way you like, add another transform and just click on the Flip Horizontal button in the Inspector of the Transform none. The graphic will then come in from the lower right. The screenshots I've included show the loaction of the Flip Horizontal button.
