Why get exported stills imported as compound clip?

PostSun Jan 20, 2019 5:33 pm

Hey Guys, :D

I am struggling with exporting Clips as stills and then reimporting them as single files/clips.

What I try to do is to have clips exported as stills, every frame or even less.

Then I would like to reimport the images to DaVinci and change the duration of each,
let's say 0.05 Seconds. so I get a kind of "jumpy" playback.
When I put JPEG Damage or Mosaic on it, it will be like a 8bit Game or so. LOL

I tried Frame reduction, but it is not enough, so I tried to export stills.

two ways to export I know:

1.In Color Tab as "grab stills".
When I do this I can export jpgs etc. It is tedious.
But when I reimport them, the stills get joined together, compounded.

2.Deliver Tab export frames as tiff.
Works faster as export, but delivers to many pictures
Same issue, when reimporting.

DaVinci creates a compound clip.

When I delete every second frame I can import them as single pictures again.
Mega-tedious, though.

Can someone tell me how to not have that compounding issue. :?:
How to tell DaVinci that these pictures shall stay picture clips. :?:
There seems to be some hidden info, always to compound.

thanks
