AAF-Import to Resolve - Issues

PostMon Jan 21, 2019 12:14 pm

Hi!

I have problems importing a (very simple) AAF-File to Resolve. It has been created from ProTools (newest version) and as an Alternative from Nuendo (newest version) as referenced, not embedded, without 'consolidate'. At least I can relink all data to the original files. Also the clips are shown correctly in Media Pool But the timeline is far too long. The shapes are looking the same like in the audio programs. But the "scale" is different: The timeline is 36 hours long, instead of 12 Seconds, also the clips go on for hours! Does anybody have an idea, how to find out what could be wrong/ missing/ defective?

The long goal is to go from ProTools to Final Cut Pro X and to go on editing there, that means using the original, referenced Audio-Files there, no Bounces or Stems.

Thanks in advance!
Andreas
