First time shooting RAW, Audio out of sync

PostThu Jan 24, 2019 2:04 am

Hello everyone,

I just started a project, shooting a round of interviews at 4.6K Lossless 29.97fps on our new URSA Mini Pro. I had a mono mic plugged into the XLR1. When I import the footage in a project the audio is very very off. The project is set to 29.97 but the footage appears sped up and finishes much earlier than the audio. For example one clip runs 4:58 in duration and the audio completes at 6:11. I can retime the footage and stretch it out to match the audio clip to get lip sync, but it starts sliding again half way though. Certainly not ideal.

I must be missing a step, this is my first time using the camera and Resolve. I'm graduating here from DSLR filmmaking, so there's a lot for me to learn.

Thanks for any guidance.

It sounds like your playback is set to 29.97 but the confirm rate is 24.

Thanks for the response. How do you adjust the confirm rate?
