Having issues creating a new database

Hi there

I'm trying to create a new database on a connected drive in Resolve 15.2.3, but I'm not getting it to work. Anyone who's got any clue why that might be?

Are you able to create a disk dB in your system drive?

Do you have an empty folder in the remote drive you are trying to make the dB in?

Do you have write permission for that drive and folder?

Yes, I seem to be able to create a database on the system drive.

Yes, I am placing the dB in an empty folder on my external drive. And yes, I should have write permissions for the external drive and folder.

It's on a Samsung Portable SSD-drive with USB-C connection.
