Davinci Resolve 15 - Failed to grab still

Hello,

I am getting an Error message when I try to get a grab still within the color tab, see error below.

Error
Failed to grab still to view 0 from track 0 clip 49: Failed to get color corrected still image for track 0 clip 49 at record frame [89981] in sequence/timeline TLR_012719_FINAL CLEAN

Sometimes I can actually get one or two grab stills, but then the error comes up again.

Does anyone know the problem or how to fix?

I have never seen that before. Could it be a permissions issue with your .gallery directory?

Yes it is strange, especially since I can grab a still once in a blue moon. After your suggestion I did try changing the permission path to a previous one. That didn't solve the problem so it must be something else.

Thanks! Figured it out, it appears to be the node(s) with denoise fx applied. If I turn off that node then I'm able to grab the still. I'm working on a 27" imac 2013 computer which struggles to keep up with Davinci if I apply a lot of FXs. Really need to upgrade.
