I am having trouble importing media files into the media pool. I tried dragging them from the desktop, using the import option in the media or use the file system navigator. The files just won't import into the program. I am on a MacBook Pro (13-inc, 2017, 2.3 GHz intel Core i5.). I am using DaVinci Resolve 15.2.
The the problem appears to be fixed. I deleted DaVinci Resolve (which I got from the App Store) and installed the version that is available from the website and I am able to import footage now. I will keep an eye open for if this changes but it looks that that fixed the problem.
Great, thanks. That is good to know that previous versions live on that page.
I get why Blackmagic features the beta on the main Davinci Resolve page but they should still have the latest version non-beta version available on the product page itself.

Since the last upgrade (16.1.2) importing of media is no longer possible. The files are supported ones, when dragging the plus-sign appears but after stop pressing the mouse, nothing happens. The files don't show up in de media pane. I installed the free version of DVR 16 via the BM-website and that works fine. Before the update, it worked fine. iMac 27 inch 4x4GHz 4Gb videoram 32 Gb ram Catalina App Store DVR 16 studio
