Possibility to change the postgres port

PostSat Mar 23, 2019 3:35 pm

Hello,

I have my own postgres server. However, it runs on a different port. Is it possible to change the default port in Davinci Resolve?

Not really, just forward the TCP port on either the client or the server. Very basic system administration. Use iptables on Linux and netsh on Windows.

I'm running into this same issue. I've setup a postgres database through docker on my Synology NAS. Synology has its own postgres database on port 5432, so I've had to make my resolve database in docker run on port 5433, but there is no way to change the port in resolve to connect through 5433. Could someone provide some guidance on how to forward port 5432 to port 5433 on windows using Netsh? I wasn't able to get it working. It would be great if resolve would just let you change the port. It would be a pretty simple feature to add and would let alot more people utilise NAS's like Synology to host their databases.
