Some basic questions

PostSat Mar 23, 2019 10:21 pm

Hi! I'm brand new to Davinci and am working on my first video. I have a few basic questions.

1) Is there a way to turn on tool tips? It would help a lot if I could see what things are as I hover over them.

2) Is there a way to lighten the background black? It is hard for me to see what is what when I drop down the menus.

3) Is there a way to save a text box as a preset? I created the box, added the text colors and attributes, and set a fade. I'd like to keep that to use again. I'll want to do the same with a scroll at the end. I have 9 more of these videos to do. Or do I need to create a template for this?

Thanks for your help,
Marcy

If you are talking about a Text or Text+ Title on the Edit page, you can drag the one you want to reuse from the Timeline to a Power Bin. This will then be accessible from all projects.
