Will Divinci Resolve work?

I just want to be sure if an Imac with the following specifications will work fine for the DaVinci resolve.

» Intel Core i5 quad core 2.7 GHz (Turbo Boost 3.2 GHz) 6 MB caché L3
» 8 GB (two of 4 GB) DDR3 1600 MHz
» 1 TB (5400 rpm)
» NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512 MB GDDR5

the directions say in its specifications "• NVIDIA Driver version – As specified by your GPU card installer"

so I don't know if this version is compatible. Any help would be appreciated.

Resolve will run on that system, but the 512MB of RAM on the GT640M is not enough to do much above standard def resolution video. It will probably work at 720P resolutions, but may have issues are 1080HD resolutions. It would not be a recommended config, unless all you were doing was SD resolution work.
