Hi all,
This may or may not be allowed to be answered but where is the activation key data held? I've had to scrub my laptop that I had Resolve on and I can't restore from a time machine backup as that defeats the purpose of reinstalling everything fresh including a new resolve DB BUT I have put my activation key somewhere safe and can't find it.
This is an annoyance not a problem as I have a fusion studio dongle on the egpu (Blackmagic of course) and a resolve dongle that has lived in my bag pretty much since BM started selling Resolve for Mac. It's just annoying now the dongle has to live on a usb-c adaptor.
I figure that I CAN dive through all the libraries on my old time machine backup to find the activation data so I should be able to put the right files in the right place and hopefully my activation would work again.
Any pointers?
