I found very frustrating and communicate with other users at pocket4k and davinci facebook groups it.
When you zoom in from zoom out on editing page timeline, you always zoom to the video playhead, not as where the cursor position. So you got always a more step to zoom out, click to the right position before zooming in, and if you miss that, you will zoom at wrong place. If its happen you need re zoom out, and zoom in.
Yes i know, we have shortkey to get back the before position, but hey. Can we add an option to settings menu to turn on/off playhead zoom on timeline or mouse location zoom?

Avoiding that kind of constant zooming in and out is part of the philosophy behind the new CUT page in Resolve 16.

Have you tried the Beta?

Is it possible to turn off the playhead zoom response? I'd like to be able to zoom in to whatever is in the center of my screen at the moment, I find it faster to edit that way.
