Load clipboard contents in source monitor?

PostSun Jun 30, 2019 4:11 pm

Wondering if there's a way in Resolve to load whatever clip(s) you've copied in the timeline to the source monitor (like Avid)? I also work in Premiere a lot and have gotten around missing this feature in Premiere with pancake timelines, but it doesn't seem that that is an option in Resolve either. Any insight or workarounds would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Resolve does have layered timelines and also lets you swap the current source clip and the current timeline using Command Page Up.

Double-clicking on a timeline clip will load it into the Source Viewer.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
