Using Fusion in DR caused crash and could not return to proj

PostMon Jul 15, 2019 2:01 pm

Designing the credits for a project, I used the Fusion-page and after a while the system crashed. (It happened before for several times, when I forced the system too much, but it always returned to more or less the same point thanks to Live Save) This time I could not start again. After selecting the project from the project manager, the system closed down immediately. Trying to open other projects worked without problem. What can I do? Do Ihave tostart the project again from scratch?
On the Fusion page I used an mp4-file and several text files with write in and out and for inside the fonts I wanted to use another mp4-file. Since I noticed that it did not work properly I decided to change the files to DNxHD files. But before I just tried to connect one merge node and the system collapsed. I also could not find any older backup on my computer - I just trusted in Live Save.
Details about my system you find in the attached zip-file
Thanks for watching my problem!

You are running an old NVIDIA driver. That may have contributed to the crash, so you should update that.

But updating that is not going to help recover the corrupt project.

If you can send the Project.db file (zipped) from corrupt Project folder in your Disk database path, we can see if it might be recoverable.

Enabling Project Backups would give you a better level of protection against potential project corruption issues.

Thanks for the tips: After separating Resolve from an old Avid System I thought I had updated the drivers, but yes indeed, I found a newer one at Nvidia (431.02).

I've also added an hourly backup additional to Live Save. That seems a reasonable compromise to me.

The daVinci-resolve-logs I had already attached to my first mail.

Unfortunately I am not able to attache the the corrupted project.db (zipped) as it is bigger than 2MB.
I put it in my dropbox but posting the link I get the message:
You are not allowed to post URLs!

What can I do?

Put a space in the Dropbox link, so the system does not see it as a URL.

Fantastic idea!

If you are able to repair that, would really be great.
Thanks for your help!

Your Project.db file works on my Windows system.

I've created a new .drp from it. Try that and see what happens.

Thanks for sending the .drp file. Import works, but while opening the project in DaVinci Resolve the program crashes
