Bizarre Huion 1409 v2 drawing tablet problem...

Hi all,

I just received a Huion tablet, and it works well with all software, from Cinema 4D to Photoshop to Unreal 4.

However, as soon as I make DaVinci Resolve the active window, the tablet completely disables, no input is registered in any way.

If I use a mouse to click off of Resolve suddenly it enables again.

It's odd because Resolve is the only programme that does this...

Any idea as to what can be done?

Using the latest Resolve 15, Win 10 latest version.

Resolve is very demanding on Hardware. It is designed to work on 12-16 core CPU in Desktops or Very powerfull Gaming Laptops with extra Ram and storage.
I am sorry. There are now way Resolve can run on a Tablet.

He doesn't have a tablet PC. He has a drawing tablet, similar to a Wacom tablet.

Yes, just to clear it's a drawing tablet, like a Wacom, not a tablet-style computer. It's good for preventing RSI I find.

I've tried all kinds of settings but still Resolve is the only programme to completely deactivate the tablet when the window is in focus.

Different programmes do often require different settings, but this is very odd behaviour...

OK what's also weird is that another controller, the nOb Control, works in generic mouse mode, but as soon as you use their nAc control software Resolve totally ignores it.

Can Blackmagic comment? Is Resolve purposefully ignoring any devices that use third-party control software?

It seems odd since both these devices (the Huion drawing tabled and the nOb Control with nAc) work with no problems in all other software.

As a final update to anyone who reaches this forum page through a search further down the line, this problem was fixed with the release of Resolve 16.
