customize GUI issues

i have been struggling with bugs in the customize ui feature.
i have problems where the 'separator bar/line' vanishes so one cannot move a frame size once it is set,
and now my timeline has vanished because i tried to enlarge my view window frame and it shrunk down my timeline and now it refuses to let me restore it so i have no timeline at alol, nor can i resize my view window how i want to [not vertically, anyway]

the custom ui feature needs help
i cannot save a preset except for a 'master' gui setting, and therefore cannot restore the default setting, unless i uninstall and reinstall [AFAIK]

Same here. It looks like beginning with Fusion 9, UI customization no longer works properly, as a separators between the window regions are missing and therefore can not be moved.
