Problem with Camera Motion Blur

PostWed Oct 21, 2020 10:05 am

Hey everyone!

I have a scene with 3d image planes and a moving camera. The whole scene was rendered with the OpenGL render and at first without motion blur. Everything worked great, as expected. For the final Video I activated the motion blur on my 3d render node. After rendering the whole scene, one 3D plane starts clipping/disappearing in some single frames.

Any ideas what the problem could be? To get a better idea of my scene I attached an image with the scene and the clipping layer

Thanks for the help!

Sometimes similar stuff happens when planes overlap/occupy the same position in 3D space. What happens if you nudge the plane that disappears ever so slightly?

Does the Transparency setting on the Renderer3D node help? I might look there, but I don't know for sure. I also might try switching the Render Type to troubleshoot.

Thanks for the help!
I will try to avoid intersections with other layers. Could be a reason for that. The fix for now was to render it again and take the not corrupted frames from the second render. Two where still bugged so I rendered those single frames again.
I think I won't use the Fusion for tasks like that again.
