How to place a fusion piece on timeline?

PostFri Oct 04, 2019 5:12 pm

Hey guys, I've wanted to create footage to add onto my timeline. I created "something" using fusion. But I just cannot figure out how to get it to show on the timeline. It is completely black. I've watched so many YouTube videos trying to figure out how but I just couldn't figure it out. There is a YouTube video called "Davinci Resolve 15 Make 3D Earth with Textures" where the steps he took were pretty much the same as mine, however his fusion piece shows up on the timeline while mine does not. Unfortunately I am not allowed to post links.

I am a new user. I've spent about 2 months studying DaVinci Resolve and this is one of my first on hand experiences. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong and the solution to the issue? And while we're at it can someone tell me why are the light rays not showing up?

You have "Bypass Color Grades and Fusion Effects" enabled on the Edit page.

You're welcome. I don't think it is enabled by default, my guess is you accidentally clicked it while doing something else.
