delete animation track

hello.
is there any way to delete an entire animation track (i.e. all the keyframes) from a node's parameter?
i am able to delete individual keyframes until there's only one keyframe left.
from there, i can't figure out a way to remove the track.
it seems like there must be something obvious i'm missing (as usual)

If you right-click on the animated parameter there is a 'remove xxxx' below the 'Edit...' option in the right-click menu. You can use that option to remove the whole animation in one go.

You can right-click on the point and choose Publish>Publish Points.
