BMD, please QA your training materials. Glaring errors.

PostFri Jan 03, 2020 6:38 pm

I just finished the Fusion Visual Effects e-book that is study material for the Fusion exam. Firstly, I'm very grateful that this is available for free, so thank you BMD team for that!!

There are a ton of errors in the book including spelling - but more importantly, the sample projects files do not have the structure that the ebook describes and it makes it hard to find many of the elements.

To illustrate the glaring errors, this is the Conclusion of the book. It thanks you for completing the audio post-production course you just did. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.

The course I'm referring to is: "Fusion Visual Effects with DaVinci Resolve 15" available on this page:

Thanks.

Mark.

There's formatting issues in the PDF, too.

For instance, lua code uses ", but the PDF uses ”, which causes the examples to fail.
