Waveform visualization

PostWed Jan 22, 2020 2:27 pm

Okay, so what I want to do I simple (I think):

I want to visualize an audio track. In After Effects it is as sample, as saying
Effect->Generate->Audio Spectrum (I want it too look like this YT-> /watch?v=xZaInjWInR0)

Since AE has an effect for that build in, I thought it should be easy to do in resolve as well. But neither could I figure it out myself nor could I find a tutorial anywhere....

Can someone help me???

I don't think there is an equivalent. Fusion is a video compositing application and as such, it doesn't really even know that audio exists.

There may be plugins available to do the job however.
Resolve 18.1 Studio, Fusion 9 Studio
CPU: i7 8700, OS: Windows 10 32GB RAM, GPU: RTX3060
I'm refugee from Sony Vegas slicing video for my YouTube channels.

There are definitely plugins for this. If you run Studio you can use the Krokodove plugins. I think there's at least one waveform tool in there. And you can use the We Suck Less audio file modifier to more or less roll your own, since it will allow you to use all kinds of info in audio files to drive your animations.
