Media offline for Fusion Title

PostTue Jan 28, 2020 12:21 pm

After creating a fairly complex (for me) Title, I have saved as a Template to be able to add directly to the timeline.
However after dragging the Fusion Title onto the timeline all I get is the dreaded Media Offline.
Now there are a few images within this title so I expect that may be the problem although even the text and backgrounds are not displaying.
So, what do I need to do to package the whole lot including images to be able to re-use as a drag and drop process? I have seen this can be done, just not how.

If you could post your node structure here, maybe we can take a look.
I understand that you wont be able to post your code if this is a sensitive pro project.
Sounds like your media files are not linked in your comp. Or they were moved.
As a general rule, you want to use the Loader node for importing media into Fusion, not the mediaIn node (which is tied to your DR project).

Thanks for getting back to me, apparently in the Macro Editor, it is possible to specify the location of the images used so that it uses from a specific folder, I can find the clip name selection but not how to select the location?

Further to that I am making some progress, using the Loader Node ( I had never heard of it previously) is getting the image onto the clip via a Title template from a folder of my choice so that is great.
A little bit of work and hopefully I will have it working correctly.
Thanks again for your input

Here's a discussion on absolute versus relative path maps. This should help!
