Fog Node - Far and Near Reversed

PostWed Feb 12, 2020 1:02 pm

Hey guys,

Trying to add fog for a cg render and I noticed that the Z Near and Z Far Plane are reversed. So the Fog only works if you want fog heavy close to the camera and as you objects are futher away, it fades. Should be the opposite? Thanks.

My Z channel straight out of the render engine is at 0 at the camera and almost infinite at the horizon. I would think that is correct?

I guess as a quick fix, I can just invert it, but it seems incorrect/unintuitive way of working.

No, that's inverted. The camera's z axis points out of the screen, not into it.
