"Is Matte" leaves wireframe behind (or something)

PostTue Jun 23, 2020 2:53 pm

I'm a total n00b with Fusion and 3D overall.

I'm trying to make a straight-sided tube/ring. I tried the ideas here /viewtopic.php?f=22&t=103808 but the O was too thick and bending a cube did not behave as I expected ... at all. So using two capped cylinders with one as the matte in the middle made sense to try next in my head. But this is the result:

Near as I can tell, the "Is Matte" cylinder is punching out as expected ... except on the wireframe for the cylinder.

What am I doing wrong? What setting did I miss? What concept have I failed to grasp?

Thanks so much!

I would try moving the inner cylinder that you are using as a matte perpendicular to the face by .05 or so, I think that will fix the issue.
