How to navigate to given framenumbers

PostMon Feb 05, 2024 8:15 am

Hi,

I'm just starting out with the fusion tab of Davinci Resolve and following some tutorials on Youtube.
Now they tell mw that I need to enter some properties in a certain frame number, and I can't find how to navigate to that given frame number :? .
Arrow keys don't work, can't find an entrybox where to enter the framenumber, the mouse scrollwheel doesn't work... I'm stumped (and probably a bit stupid)

Can anyone help me on my way here ?

Thanks,
Paul

To the middle right of the screen in fusion is a box with numbers. You can click and type a figure into this or you can click and drag the mouse left or right and move it that way.

Thanks guys :D

I had seen the box in the bottom-right, but since it had a decimal point in it, I didn't realize it was in fact the frame number. I was looking for whole numbers

Another thing I have problems with is the viewport controls. In most tutorials you see them scrolling and turning as if it's no big issue. But I am struggling a lot with it. It took days before I found out to hold down the middle mouse button together with the right mouse button to rotate the field. I still haven't found out how to simply move the image along the x-y plane though :-/
I hope I will get there some day :P

But only on keyboards with English layout. On my German keyboard the brackets are on ALT GR + 8 and ALT GR + 9 - and therefore useless.
Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime.
