Feature Request for other DVR Fusion Saver node types additional to EXR. H.264/5, ProRes variants, JPEG sequence, TIFF sequence, DPX sequence, PNG sequence, etc.

How about simple parity with Fusion Studio for both Loaders and Savers would be ideal. In my opinion, it's absurd that work had to be done to remove capabilities when restoring those tools to Resolve.

And also all ProRes variants for "quick export", which seems so easy to implement
*MacMini M1 16 Go - Ext nvme SSDs on TB3 - 14 To HD in 2 x 4 disks USB3 towers
*Legacy MacPro 8core Xeons, 32 Go ram, 2 x gtx 980 ti, 3SSDs including RAID
*Resolve Studio everywhere, Fusion Studio too

I am pretty sure you can change it to at least png or jpg by choosing All Files in the Save As Type dropdown then change the file extension to either png or jpg.

Just tried it - EXR is the only available option.

Did you choose All Files in the Save As Type drop-down and add .png to the file name as I described in my post? It won't show png or any others, you have to follow the steps I described. It isn't as good as the standalone Fusion but it does work in a limited capacity. In the SS below, I followed those steps and created a folder full of png's.

I was able to get it to show All Files - about every other time I tried it. And when I did add .jpg I got a quality slider defaulted at 97. But that's every other time I tried, and if I go back, it's defaulted back to EXR. No movie types. It's basically an Easter Egg, still.

Yes, every time you go back it defaults to EXR. If you want to output png, you have to choose All Files and add the .png. You will have to do it every time. It is a workaround, it would be great if they would get it to work like Fusion Studio, but in the meantime, it does work in this limited fashion.

BTW, the render time for say PNG files out of a Fusion Saver is literally about 15x what it is out of the Deliver page, same Fusion Comp placed in a Timeline. Two minutes versus a half hour.
