Making Panes Dockable

PostWed Nov 19, 2014 6:00 pm

So i need to get this off my chest.

FOR YEARS i have been always struggling with where i want to put my BINS. i love to see the icons when i work. So sue me. But while im sure others might also enjoy this… there is always this clumsy deal with were you want to place them. Sometimes, i wish i could just take the DUAL VIEW, and make one of them a bins pane.

yea i wouldnt be upset with tabbing the top of the view panes so that they can be swapped out with other items.

Often ill tear off my particles menu and hide it in the corner of the node view… but other times when im needing a creative push.. seeing the icons in the bins helps me think clearly about the goal i need to accomplish.

SO.. please make the viewports have the ability to DOCK the bins AND id like to move the UI around a bit if i feel like it.

Sometimes i need to do a dual monitor thing, sometimes im stuck on a wacom cintiq… the issue is i need to customize my view for each scenario. And this would help me do it.

anyone else need this?
