Advice on MotionGraphics/Transitions work flow

PostTue Dec 09, 2014 4:22 pm

So in the case of a motion graphics piece, say 60 seconds in length with text, images and footage, is this something that can entirely be edited/timed in fusion without the need of say avid, premiere or aftereffects?

I'm trying to get an idea of the work flow, with a 60 sec piece with lets say 4 different scenes built in fusion, each with an animated mask transition to the next scene and a final ending logo screen.

I'm assuming the correct way would be to setup and create the 4 shots/scenes than connect the animated mask transitions and adjust the timeline for timing.

If anyone can point me maybe to the right tutorial and give me some pointers that would be much appreciated. I'm really enjoying working with fusion and I'm building complex shots in 3D space just still a little uncertain on how to join multiple creations together with transitions and output a final animation.

Thanks
