[BUG] Playback slowdown if selected tools have controls

It's rather a WISH since this issue is there for years.
The playback speed radically slower while a tool is selected. If you deselect the tool the playback is faster. Of course I'm talking about tools already cached into memory.
Most affected tools are Transform, Merge, Text+ anything that has interactive controls in the viewer.
Even worse the Text+ tool became unusable with many text in it until you switch off the text outline display.
Hope it makes sense an can be cured shortly.
