fusion 7 for mac

hi, i am using fusion 7 under virtual box in macbook air. the problem i have is when i load the footage, the icon is just small, not square, and if i press 1 key, does not want to play or be seen in the upper frame. also, upper left frame is not clear, it has like a remain of the window, which i used for finding the footage still present.
what is the problem? thanks, b
